Benvolio Corn Oil is produced with selected pure Non-Genetically Modified (Non-GMO) corn, a natural source of phytosterols. It has a high linoleic acid content – Omega-6 mostly comes as linoleic acid – which is essential to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Due to the presence of vitamin E and vitamin B6, it is particularly suitable for people who suffer from hypercholesterolemia (high levels of cholesterol in the blood). Thanks to its delicate flavour and its lightness it can be used to prepare cooked dishes, but also as a raw condiment. Like the other oils the company produces, Benvolio Corn Oil is gluten-free and is therefore suitable for people with celiac disease.
